Benvenuti su Sound Bites!

• WHO: Mi chiamo Alessandro Carpentiero e ho 24 anni. Come hobby studio Design del Prodotto Industriale.
  La mia passione è la Musica.
  Ho iniziato a studiare musica quando avevo 10 anni; da allora le ho provate un po' tutte: 9 anni di sax, 9 anni di pianoforte, e a 14 anni ho iniziato a suonare l'organo in chiesa (cosa che faccio attualmente).
  Vedendo che non stavo concludendo nulla di "serio", 3 anni fa ho deciso di dedicarmi solo all'università.
  Dopo un anno di pausa, la musica da passione si è tramutata in malattia, e non se n'è più andata. Da allora ho deciso di seguire quello che volevo realmente fare da tempo, così ho iniziato a studiare canto moderno, a comporre ed arrangiare musica per il mio progetto inedito "Fade to Rain" (di cui sono il cantante), e ad approcciarmi al mondo dell' HomeRecording.
• WHAT: Sound Bites è un blog/vlog/nonsoancora, dove metterò a disposizione di tutti quello che ho appreso (ed apprenderò) sul mondo della musica. Di cose da imparare ne ho ancora molte, e pensavo di condividere questo processo con chi vorrà.
  Ogni post sarà un "Bite", un morso, una piccola fetta di una grande, infinita torta di informazioni.

• WHEN: Pubblicherò Bites in base a quello che potrà essere utile o in base ad eventuali richieste.
• WHERE: Qui e su YouTube.
• WHY: Reperire informazioni sul mondo della musica online può essere depresso-dispersivo, e non sempre si trova ciò che si cerca. Per questo voglio condividere con tutti quello che ho imparato (ed imparerò), per rendere il mondo della musica più accessibile a tutti.

Since we live in a big world, I wanna share the stuff I know also with people that doesn't know italian, so here's the thing in English:

• WHO: My name is Alessandro Carpentiero, and I'm 24. I study product design, and it's my hobby.
  My true passion though, is music.
  I've started studying music since i was 10; since then i've tried a lot of stuff: i've studied sax and piano for 9 years, i started playing the organ in the church at 14 (still doing it).
  3 years ago I noticed that i wasn't going anywhere with all this, so I decided just to focus on university.
  After 1 year apart from music, my passion became an obesession!
  Since then, I've decided to follow what I truly wanted, so 2 years ago I started studying singing, composing and arranging music for my band called Fade to Rain (where i'm the singer), and I approached to the homerecording world.
• WHAT: Sound Bites it's a blog/vlog, where I'll share my knowledge (and what I'll learn in the future) about music.
  Every post will be a "Bite", yeah a bite, a taste of that big and infinite world called Music.
• WHEN: I'll publish Bites based on requests and what I think could be useful.
• WHERE: Here and on my YouTube channel.
• WHY: Finding useful stuff about music, especially for beginners, can be tricky and sometimes frustrating. That's why I wanna share what I know with everybody, trying to make music something more accessible for everybody.
